Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Winnipeg team at TC Transcontinental. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers and support the sales team by ensuring accurate order processing, timely communication and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
• Process purchase orders, confirm pricing, and enter production, stocking and release orders.
• Coordinate order updates, delivery timelines and inventory information with customers and sales representatives.
• Maintain customer forecasts, inventory records and accurate filing systems for orders and samples.
• Support sales with RFQ requests, providing previous order details, samples and documentation.
• Verify finished goods, prepare shipping documentation and assist with occasional reception duties.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and overall efficiency.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced setting.
