Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative to join our Cranbrook team. In this full‑time position you will act as the link between customers, suppliers and our sales team, ensuring accurate quotes, orders and returns while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist at the front counter, handle customer inquiries and support Outside Sales.
• Prepare accurate quotations and manage sales orders across multiple channels.
• Support project quotations, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages and recommend new items based on demand.
• Process returns (RMA) and track open orders, pricing and sales performance.
• Contribute to warehouse, inventory and branch safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
• High school completion and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to work inclusively, collaboratively and respectfully.
• Intermediate computer proficiency with MS Office and willingness to learn new software.
• Experience in the electrical/lighting industry or related product knowledge is an asset.
