Customer Service Associate – Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Customer Service Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire in Clayton Park. In this part‑time position you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, helping them with inquiries, returns, exchanges and sales transactions while delivering a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in‑store and over the phone with a courteous attitude.
• Handle product returns, exchanges and process sales transactions accurately.
• Operate the cash register, computer and printer to complete purchases and refunds.
• Maintain a clean and organized customer service area.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service or retail environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Approachable and able to find solutions in challenging situations.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours and lift items as needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.
