Customer Sales & Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Sales & Service Representative works under the Assistant Store Manager to assist customers in selecting and purchasing goods and services. The role combines front‑line sales, cash handling, and eCommerce order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service to customers in‑store and over the phone, handling sales leads and CRM activities.
• Accurately process sales, receipts, billings and payments, and perform opening/closing cash balancing.
• Manage eCommerce requests, pick, pack, label and ship orders while maintaining order‑storage cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with inventory tasks, cycle counts, and troubleshooting as directed.
• Maintain store, yard and warehouse areas clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Support junior representatives and participate in special projects such as farm shows or trade fairs.

Required profile

• Grade 12 diploma with 3‑5 years of related customer‑service or sales experience.
• Cash‑handling and computer proficiency required.
• Interest or background in agriculture, agri‑business or petroleum.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform physical labour.
• Warehouse or yard experience and forklift operation considered an asset.
• Current WHMIS and TDG certifications.
