Customer Greeter – Part‑time

About the role

As a People Greeter at Walmart Canada you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting store operations. The role combines customer service, safety monitoring and basic store upkeep in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast and professional service to every customer entering and exiting the store.
• Support loss‑prevention and store safety by placing return tags, monitoring large purchases and checking receipts.
• Respond to EAS alarms, help identify deactivation issues and complete required documentation.
• Assist customers with carts, baskets, flyers and product directions while collaborating with sales associates.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free store environment by following company policies.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to ensure consistent service.

Required profile

• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lb (occasionally 50 lb).
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfort handling a high‑volume, fast‑paced work environment.
