Customer Experience Representative

About the role

Indigo is looking for a part‑time Customer Experience Representative to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in its Tecumseh store. You will engage shoppers, share stories behind books and products, and add joy to every interaction while upholding Indigo’s visual standards and health‑safety priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers.
• Engage shoppers on the floor, curate product collections and tell stories that connect them to the brand.
• Maintain visual standards and ensure store cleanliness and safety.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions and programs.
• Respond promptly to customer feedback and hold yourself and teammates accountable.
• Participate in self‑development, share ideas with leadership and support a culture of joy.

Required profile

• Adaptability, flexibility and willingness to learn all aspects of store operations.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional employee and customer experiences.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods and lift items up to 40 lb safely.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and early mornings.
• Bilingualism (French/English) required for Quebec positions; additional languages are a plus.
