Cultivation Technician

About the role

Curaleaf International is looking for a dedicated Cultivation Technician to join its Brampton, ON facility. You will support the full plant lifecycle, from propagation through harvest, ensuring high standards of plant health, hygiene, compliance and product quality in a regulated medical‑cannabis environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain plant health throughout all cultivation stages.
• Perform daily tasks such as transplanting, pruning, watering, canopy management and harvesting.
• Identify and report pests, pathogens, nutrient deficiencies or other plant health concerns.
• Support integrated pest‑management actions, both preventative and corrective.
• Follow SOPs, quality requirements and facility protocols to maintain strict compliance.
• Carry out daily sanitation and cleaning of cultivation areas and equipment.
• Operate, calibrate, clean and maintain cultivation tools and equipment.
• Assist with movement of plants, substrates and materials within the facility.
• Help onboard and train new team members.
• Provide ideas and recommendations to improve processes, efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Experience working with plants, horticulture, agriculture, greenhouse operations or a food‑grade manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures accurately.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Comfortable operating in a highly regulated cultivation or manufacturing setting.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work a permanent Sunday‑to‑Wednesday schedule.
