Credit Counsellor – Hybrid (Moncton)

About the role

CCS is looking for a passionate Credit Counsellor to work on a hybrid basis from its Moncton office. You will guide clients through financial challenges, help them manage debt, and support them in achieving stable financial futures.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients’ financial situations, including income, expenses and debt obligations.
• Provide personalized strategies and options for debt management and resolution.
• Offer ongoing support through a Debt Management Program with interest relief where appropriate.
• Serve as a trusted resource, answering questions and following up to keep clients on track.
• Complete Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC) certification within the first year.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree or diploma (asset, not required).
• 3–5 years experience in financial services, counselling, social services or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help.
• Goal‑oriented mindset and strong ability to influence and guide others.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Availability for variable shifts between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM, including six Saturday shifts per year.
