Crane Driver (Class 3)

About the role

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for exterior building supply for roofing, siding, metal and building envelope, is hiring a driver for its articulated crane in St. Hubert. The driver safely loads, moves and delivers products while keeping a clean work environment that meets health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Safely load, move and deliver products
• Perform pre-operational inspections, maintenance checks, cleaning and lubrication of the crane
• Keep the store, yard and trucks clean and organized
• Follow all health and safety rules, regulations and legislation
• Other duties as required

Required profile

• Valid insurable Class 3 licence and a current driving record
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80 to 100 lb repeatedly
• Excellent customer service skills
• Authorization to work in Canada
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the field

Required skills

• Load securement training (can be provided)
• Forklift/Moffett operation and truck driving experience are assets
• Fall protection and first aid certificates are assets
