Course Lecturer – Kinesiology Clinic Internship (EDKP 302/402)

About the role

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education at McGill University is seeking a qualified professional to teach the Kinesiology Clinic Internship (EDKP 302/402) in the Fall 2025 term. The lecturer will manage course administration, guide students in designing basic exercise programs, and supervise practical training sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of the course, including student placement, client recruitment, and scheduling.
• Teach students how to design and execute basic exercise programs for both online and in‑person training.
• Supervise exercise sessions, provide constructive feedback, and act as a professional resource during internships.
• Maintain course records and ensure compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• BSc (or higher) in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or a comparable field.
• Accreditation by the Fédération des Kinésiologues du Québec (FKQ) and CSEP‑CEP certification.
• At least five years of full‑time practice as a kinesiologist.
• Experience teaching exercise classes and supervising university‑level internship students.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.

Required skills

• Accreditation by FKQ.
• CSEP‑CEP certification.
• Strong knowledge of exercise program design and execution.
