About the role

McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies is seeking a Course Lecturer to teach CPAG 220 – Fundamentals of Public Finance, Budgeting and Reporting. The appointment runs from October 26 to October 31, 2026, with a Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule at the Kativik Office in Montreal. All teaching and research activities are conducted in English, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills. Key responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures covering public finance, budgeting, public funding, fiscal analysis, financial reporting, cash management, and evaluation of budget performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and budget performance throughout the course.

Required profile

  • Experience teaching First Nations, Inuit and Métis learners.
  • Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
