About the role

The School of Human Nutrition seeks a Course Lecturer for the Winter 2027 term to teach NUTR 343 – Financial Management and Accounting. The role involves delivering lectures on Thursdays from 2:35 pm to 5:25 pm in the Raymond Building, grading final exams, and supporting exam sessions. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada and commit to the campus location. The position is on‑site and requires presence during the exam period, which occurs two weeks after the end of classes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course content covering nutrition‑related financial management and accounting.
• Manage cost‑control aspects related to the nutrition and food‑service environment.
• Utilize financial statements and systems to support decision‑making in the classroom.
• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with course objectives.
• Be available for scheduled final exams and grade them as part of the contract.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business, management or a related discipline.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and manage financial topics within a nutrition context.
