About the role

The Department of Psychology at McGill University is seeking a qualified instructor to teach the Cognition course (PSYC 213) during the Fall 2026 term. This role involves delivering lectures on human information processing topics such as memory, attention, decision making, and the philosophy of mind.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver formal lectures on cognition topics.
  • Organize and facilitate classroom discussions and student presentations.
  • Assess student assignments, presentations, and research project reports.
  • Supervise and support Teaching Assistants assigned to the course.

Required profile

  • Demonstrated expertise in cognition or related content areas.
  • Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
