About the role
The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for the Fall 2026 semester to teach Advanced Principles in Applied Kinesiology (EDKP 450). The role involves delivering lectures, guiding student learning, and assessing performance in a classroom setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver weekly lectures and tutorials for the EDKP 450 course.
- Prepare course materials, including presentations and reading assignments.
- Assess student work through assignments, exams, and provide feedback.
- Maintain office hours to support student inquiries.
Required profile
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in kinesiology or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Professional experience as a practicing kinesiologist with general or athletic populations.
- Prior university‑level teaching experience.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
