Country Manager – Canada

About the role

CooperVision is seeking a senior executive to lead its Canadian business. Reporting to the President, Americas Commercial, the Country Manager will drive sustainable growth, profitability and market share across Canada while fostering a high‑performing, customer‑centric culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets and long‑range strategies to meet financial targets.
• Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, including new markets, distribution channels and partnerships.
• Lead sales, marketing and business development initiatives to support sustainable revenue expansion.
• Negotiate and manage key commercial contracts and ensure regulatory, governance and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with supply chain, operations, R&D and professional affairs to align commercial priorities with operational capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, marketing and commercial operations, with senior management responsibility.
• Proven track record of building and growing a business through P&L management and operational excellence.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed global organization; optical or medical‑device industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
