Corporate Store Manager (Temporary)

About the role

Bulk Barn is seeking a Corporate Store Manager on a temporary, full‑time basis to lead one of its Bedford locations. You will partner with the District Manager and store team to ensure compliance with company standards, legislation, and to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer service standards, operating policies, and provincial/federal compliance.
• Drive operating efficiencies, revenue goals, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Source, hire, train, and develop the store team.
• Communicate professionally and proactively with staff and customers.
• Address under‑performance with documented improvement plans and recognize top performers.
• Resolve store issues promptly and escalate unresolved matters to the District Manager.
• Ensure daily deposit is prepared and delivered to the nearest TD Bank.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and foster an engaging customer environment.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a focus on timely, thorough, and consistent messaging.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people, including performance coaching and recognition.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and accountability for store compliance.
• Understanding of operational and HR policies and ability to enforce them uniformly.
• Customer‑focused attitude with experience observing shopping behaviors on the sales floor.
• Knowledge of the retail market, competitors, and strategies for long‑term success.

• Salary range $55,000‑$60,000 CAD per year
• Full‑time temporary contract until February 28, 2028
