Coordinator, Marketing, Creative and Production Services

About the role

The City of Vaughan is seeking a temporary full‑time Coordinator for Marketing, Creative and Production Services. This non‑unionized position supports the Communications, Marketing and Engagement department by developing graphic design, photography and videography services and providing on‑site event assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the creation of print and digital materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, reports, posters, signs, advertising, social media graphics, e‑newsletters, website and app assets, and Vaughan TV content.
• Ensure all materials conform to corporate standards and maintain the City’s brand integrity.
• Direct printers and external service providers on layout, scheduling, paper, colour, quality control and related issues.
• Manage the Digital Media Asset Library and photo inventory.
• Provide on‑site support for marketing and creative services during events.
• Serve as a member of the Public Information Team during emergencies in line with the Emergency Communications Plan.

Required profile

• Experienced and motivated individual with a proven ability to brainstorm creative ideas.
• Strong collaboration skills to liaise with internal communications staff and external vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
