Cook's Helper – Seasonal Kitchen Support

About the role

Join Pub St-Alexandre as a Cook's Helper for a seasonal, full‑time position in Québec. You will support the kitchen team by handling essential prep, cleaning, and basic cooking tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
• Remove kitchen garbage and manage waste disposal.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Read and follow verbal instructions or specifications for food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Grade and label wood products according to quality standards (if applicable).
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes under supervision.
• Clean machines and equipment after use.

Required profile

• Availability to start on the posted start date.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, days, weekends, and shifts as needed.
