Cook – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our restaurant team at Sawridge Travel Centre in Slave Lake. This full‑time permanent position involves preparing high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure hygiene and safety compliance.
• Train and mentor staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling.
• Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory levels.
• Clean kitchen workstations and organize buffets or banquet setups.

Required profile

• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift schedules, including evenings, weekends and overtime.
• Organized and reliable with the ability to work under pressure.
• Physically capable of handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods and performing demanding tasks.
