Cook 3 – Fly-in/Fly-out

About the role
The Cook 3 position supports the kitchen team on a fly‑in/fly‑out basis, reporting directly to the Head Chef. You will work alongside the 2nd Cook to ensure menu items are prepared to high quality standards while maintaining a smooth, efficient service.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the 2nd Cook in daily food production.
- Prepare side dishes, salad bars, raw vegetables and fruit.
- Ensure all food preparation is recorded, meets quality standards, and follows safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.
- Manage proper food storage, rotation, and inventory control.
- Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately.
- Perform any additional tasks as required by the kitchen team.
Required profile
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Required skills
- Food preparation techniques for vegetables, fruit, and side dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Basic kitchen equipment operation.
