Convenience Store Cashier

About the role

Join Petro Canada as a Convenience Store Cashier and provide friendly, efficient service to customers in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will handle transactions, keep the store tidy, and support promotional activities while working flexible shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process cash, cheque, credit and debit card payments.
• Scan items, calculate totals and provide receipts to customers.
• Verify age for lottery, alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Stock shelves, keep the counter area clean and participate in promotional activities.
• Greet customers, deliver friendly service and suggest additional products.
• Reconcile daily/shift cash receipts with sales totals.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and on‑call shifts.
• Ability to verify customer age for restricted items.
