Controller – Financial Operations Leader

About the role

Stark & Marsh CPA LLP is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and operationally focused Controller to lead internal financial operations and support long‑term growth. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Finance Committee, the Controller will ensure strong financial health, scalable processes, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial insight and recommendations to the CEO and Finance Committee.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy across the firm.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting tools, and performance metrics.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll administration, and internal finance policies.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Identify operational efficiencies and profitability improvement opportunities.
