Contracts Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead contract management for the Ontario Line – Elevated Guideway and Stations project. The role involves overseeing the full contract lifecycle within a progressive design‑build framework, ensuring alignment with project goals and collaborative delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and finalize agreements with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms while respecting budget and schedule constraints.
• Collaborate with legal teams, project stakeholders and external consultants to ensure contracts meet client and DMCA requirements.
• Oversee selection, qualification and performance evaluation of vendors and subcontractors, managing disputes as needed.
• Administer the DMCA and all sub‑contracts throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring compliance, submittal requirements and correspondence timelines.
• Manage change orders and contract modifications, assessing impacts on cost, schedule and scope.
• Identify and assess contractual risks, implementing mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract development, negotiation and administration within large infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with progressive design‑build or integrated project delivery models.
• Strong ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Excellent analytical skills for risk identification and impact assessment.
