Contract Manager

About the role

Metso is seeking a Contract Manager to join its North and Central America Legal team. Based in Montreal with hybrid work options, you will support the Contract Speed Stop initiative by handling contract intake, initial reviews, and coordinating the full contract lifecycle across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary intake point for contractual requests within North and Central America, ensuring proper prioritisation and routing.
• Conduct initial reviews of customer contracts, purchase orders, amendments, non‑disclosure agreements and other commercial agreements to identify risks and escalation needs.
• Coordinate the contract lifecycle from intake through execution, guaranteeing timely stakeholder engagement and progression.
• Partner with legal counsel, sales, proposal and operations teams to support contract reviews, negotiations and risk mitigation.
• Manage the contract execution process, ensuring compliance and timely completion.

Required profile

• Reports to the Senior Legal Counsel, North and Central America.
• Based in Montreal, Quebec with hybrid working options.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across the region.
