Consulting Manager - Utilities Customer Experience and Transformation

About the role

Accenture’s Utilities Industry and Enterprise group is looking for a Consulting Manager to shape the next chapter of its Utilities Customer practice in Canada. The role supports gas and electric utilities across Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada, focusing on customer operations, meter‑to‑cash, demand‑side programs, energy transition and digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and advise clients on customer transformation, experience, contact‑center modernization and digital strategy within the energy transition.
• Work across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle, from service requests and metering through billing, payments, credit and collections.
• Design and document new business processes that enable efficient delivery of energy‑efficiency, electrification and distributed‑energy programs.
• Leverage analytics, customer insights and artificial intelligence to improve experience, reduce cost‑to‑serve and advance sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (spoken and written) and English.
• 5+ years experience in the utilities industry, including at least 2 years leading a workstream in customer operations or transformation.
• Knowledge of Canadian energy regulators such as the Régie de l’énergie and Ontario Energy Board is an asset.

Required skills

• Oracle Customer Care and Billing or Oracle Customer to Meter.
• SAP for Utilities / S/4HANA Utilities.
• Salesforce or comparable customer‑relationship platforms.
• Experience with meter‑to‑cash processes and major system replacements.
• Analytics, AI and data‑driven insight generation.
