Consultant Dermatologist (Full‑time, 10 PAs)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, delivering high‑quality skin cancer and general dermatology services across our sites on a full‑time basis (10 programmed activities).

Key responsibilities

• Run skin cancer clinics and general dermatology clinics.
• Perform outpatient skin surgery and minor operation lists (excision, incisional, punch biopsies and curette procedures).
• Manage ward referrals and provide advice to wards and emergency departments.
• Support paediatric dermatology, contact dermatitis and psoriasis services.
• Attend weekly local and network skin‑cancer MDT meetings.
• See new patients and treat patients from the waiting list, with a mix of fixed and flexible sessions.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent with full GMC registration.
• MRCP with CCT in dermatology (or within 6 months of application).
• Advanced clinical training and commitment to CPD.
• Experience in teaching medical students and trainees.
• Evidence of research activity, publications, presentations and audit participation.
• Demonstrated service development or grant‑writing experience.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
