Consultant, Capacity, Access & Flow

About the role

Ontario Health is seeking a Consultant to support the development and implementation of regional strategies that enhance health system capacity, patient access and flow across the Toronto Region. Reporting to the Director, Capacity, Access and Flow, the role combines data‑driven analysis with stakeholder engagement to translate evidence into practical solutions that improve outcomes for patients and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement with providers, partners and internal teams to gather insights and build consensus.
• Analyze health system data to identify gaps, trends and opportunities for improving capacity and access.
• Support change‑management initiatives and monitor the impact of key programs.
• Develop and evaluate targeted interventions that strengthen system performance and patient flow.
• Prepare reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in health system planning or related analytical roles.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships across diverse health‑care stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a data‑informed, evidence‑based environment.
