Construction Worker

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Construction Worker to join Grace Plumbing Ltd. in Calgary. The role involves supporting various construction projects across multiple sites, handling materials and assisting skilled tradespeople.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials safely.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt and other building materials.
• Clean work areas, manage salvaged materials and respond to chemical spills.
• Remove rubble and debris, and tend to construction equipment.
• Comply with safety protocols, including criminal record checks.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) and perform repetitive, demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and variable shifts.
• Team‑player attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Required skills

• Formwork erection and dismantling.
• Scaffolding assembly.
• Concrete mixing and pouring.
• Operation of basic construction machinery.
