Construction Worker – General Labor

About the role

Join Grace Plumbing Ltd. as a Construction Worker supporting a variety of sites across Calgary. You will work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, handling materials and equipment while maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble and debris.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Operate or tend machines and equipment used in construction.

Required profile

• Physically fit – able to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willing to undergo a criminal record check.
• Flexible, reliable and able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends or varied shifts.
• Team‑oriented and hardworking.

Required skills

• Concrete mixing and pouring.
• Scaffolding erection and dismantling.
• Operation of construction equipment.
