Construction Supervisor – Site Lead for Ontario Parks Project

About the role

Blok Canada is seeking a hands‑on Construction Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day activities on two comfort‑station projects at Arrowhead Provincial Park, Ontario. The role runs from July 2026 to February 2027, with a possible two‑month extension, and serves as the senior on‑site representative for the contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations across two locations (East River and Roe campgrounds).
• Coordinate all trades including excavation, septic, masonry, mechanical, electrical and finishes.
• Oversee subcontractor scope, sequencing, quality and progress.
• Conduct weekly coordination meetings and daily toolbox talks.
• Maintain daily logs, photo records, RFIs and weekly progress reports.
• Arrange inspections with the Contract Administrator and building/septic inspectors.
• Enforce Blok Canada’s safety program in accordance with OHSA and Regulation 213/91.
• Plan and execute cold‑weather work at the Roe site (Nov‑Feb), including frost protection and snow clearing.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor or Superintendent on commercial or institutional projects.
• Proven experience supervising masonry‑construction buildings with full mechanical/electrical scopes.
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and OHSA regulations.
• WHMIS, Working at Heights and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong written English for daily logs, RFIs and inspector coordination.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, structural and civil drawings.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and availability Monday‑Friday on‑site.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $50.00‑$65.00 CAD.
• Full‑time schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday‑Friday with occasional weekend coverage for critical milestones.
• On‑site work at Arrowhead Provincial Park, Huntsville, Ontario.
