Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will lead on‑site construction activities for Imara Builders in Saint John, NB. This contract position ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations and coordinate crews and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve issues affecting timelines or quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety standards and building code compliance.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, trades, and clients.
• Prepare and update site documentation and project reports.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory and site supervision experience in commercial, industrial or residential construction.
• Strong communication abilities for stakeholder coordination.
• Experience with inspection and construction safety practices.
• Relevant diploma or certification in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in varying weather conditions while upholding quality and integrity.
