Construction Superintendent

About the role

Delnor Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead site teams on diverse projects across Calgary. You will be the on‑site leader responsible for delivering high‑quality work while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Direct and mentor subcontractors and crew members, promoting best practices and quality workmanship.
• Implement and maintain Delnor’s paperless safety program, conducting regular safety briefings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on safety and quality.
• Adaptable, able to manage changing priorities and multiple sites.
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation for site travel.

Required skills

• Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent.
• CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) certification.
• First Aid certification.
