Construction Site Supervisor – Traveling

About the role

Pro‑King Construction is seeking a travelling Construction Site Supervisor to oversee commercial projects across Ontario. The role involves leading crews, coordinating with project management, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site leadership, read and execute work from drawings in coordination with Project Management.
• Perform a range of physical labour tasks across all trades while guiding other workers.
• Travel to various Ontario sites and remain on‑site for the duration of each project.
• End each day with site clean‑up, brief reporting and photo documentation.
• Maintain safety gear and tools, and ensure compliance with site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to travel frequently across Ontario and visit the Peterborough office when needed.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and willingness to use it for site‑to‑site travel.
• Strong English oral communication and a professional, respectful attitude.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and construction specifications.
• General construction labour abilities and basic hand‑tool usage.
• Knowledge of safety equipment such as steel‑toe boots, hard hat, gloves and rain suit.
