Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to lead daily operations on multiple outdoor construction projects in Calgary. The role involves managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality work on time.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of 16‑20 workers, apprentices, trades helpers and labourers on construction, fabrication, inspection and installation projects.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities, set up machines and equipment, and ensure all work follows health and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to guide project execution.
• Oversee apprenticeship training, recruit and hire staff, and recommend personnel actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising construction sites.
• Excellent oral communication, strong organization, reliability and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on safety and quality.
