Construction Site Superintendent (GTA)

About the role

Our client, a nationally recognized general contracting and development firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead daily field operations on commercial, retail, and hospitality projects across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise trades, material deliveries, and scheduling to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain a safe, organized worksite that complies with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and company policies.
• Review and implement the latest drawings and specifications, ensuring work aligns with current plans.
• Produce daily reports in Procore to keep project teams, clients, and consultants informed.
• Perform occasional carpentry, site organization, and clean‑up tasks as project size dictates.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a site superintendent on ground‑up and tenant‑fit‑out projects in commercial, retail, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong understanding of the full building process from start to finish.
• Ability to communicate professionally with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and consultants.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Canada, with paid weekly travel and return home each weekend.
