Construction Project Manager

About the role

BUILD IT is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a high‑profile hospitality build in Jasper. Based in Calgary, the role requires extended on‑site presence and the ability to manage complex, multi‑trade projects from mobilization through close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee all construction phases to meet scope, schedule, and client specifications.
• Coordinate resources, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Maintain full project documentation in Procore, including permits, RFQs, POs, shop drawings, RFIs, and approvals.
• Monitor budgets, manage billings, receivables, and trade invoices with strict cost control.
• Lead subcontractors and site teams, enforce safety protocols, and mentor coordination teams.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of supervisory experience in commercial construction project control, budgeting, and invoicing.
• Post‑secondary education in Project or Construction Management; PMP or BCIN certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of construction financials, cost management, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Procore and MS Project and ability to lead diverse teams.
