Construction Painter Helper

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Painter Helper to join our construction team in Langford. In this role you will support painting crews by handling and transporting construction materials, preparing concrete and asphalt mixes, and keeping the site clean and safe. You will be responsible for cleaning and lubricating cranes and other equipment, as well as tending to machines used in painting operations. The position requires flexibility to work morning, day or evening shifts. No formal education is required, and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
• Clean and lubricate cranes and other painting equipment.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt and other coating materials.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction areas.
• Feed and tend machines or equipment used in painting operations.

Required profile

• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to work morning, day or evening shifts as needed.
• No formal education required.

Required skills

• Concrete mixing and spreading.
• Asphalt handling.
• Crane cleaning and lubrication.
• Basic machine operation.
