Construction Manager – Mining Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of construction projects at our Lynn Lake gold mine in northern Manitoba. The role is focused on ensuring safe, high-quality infrastructure that supports ongoing mining operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities, aligning work with approved scope, schedule and budget.
• Promote a strong health-and-safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors, monitoring performance, quality and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement and operations teams to achieve seamless project delivery.
• Track project progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep timelines and costs on target.
• Verify that all construction work meets specifications, standards and project objectives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in mining or heavy-industrial settings.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale projects, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee multiple contractors.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving capabilities.
