Construction Labourer – Brighton Mountain

About the role

Under the direction of the foreman, the Construction Labourer will support the construction of renewable energy projects in the Brighton area, performing heavy manual labour tasks on civil construction sites such as wind‑farm development. The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires strict adherence to safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and move construction materials around the worksite.
• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel, and remove rubble and debris.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment for each task while maintaining a safe environment.
• Ensure the safety of fellow employees and comply with all safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman.

Required profile

• Ability to follow a firm work schedule and construction site protocols.
• Capability to operate equipment safely and responsibly.
• Well‑versed in construction site rules, code of conduct and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks requiring independent judgment.
• Effective communication with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Commitment to safety as a condition of employment.
