Construction Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Construction Helper to join our team in Sechelt. This entry‑level position supports daily site activities and ensures materials and equipment are handled safely and efficiently. You will work under the supervision of site foremen and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive environment. All Canada Contracting & Renovation Ltd. is a locally owned company serving the Sechelt area with a range of renovation and construction projects. The role is part of government and community programs that support newcomers, youth, veterans, Indigenous people and visible minorities.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials around the site.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt and other building materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants safely.
• Remove rubble and debris to keep the work area tidy.
• Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction.

Required profile

• No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
• 1 to less than 7 months of related experience.
• Available for morning, evening or day shifts.
