Construction Helper – Entry Level

About the role

Termax is looking for a Construction Helper to join its crew in Thunder Bay. The position supports daily construction activities on outdoor sites, often at heights and in noisy, dusty, or temperature‑extreme conditions. Candidates should be ready to start on the posted date and have up to seven months of related experience.

Key responsibilities

• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Clean, pile and manage salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Feed and tend machines or equipment used in construction.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 7 months of construction‑related experience.
• Physically demanding work with ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
• Manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in noisy, dusty, hot, cold or refrigerated environments.
