Construction Helper – Calgary

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Construction Helper to join our team in Calgary. You will support a variety of projects across industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential sites, ensuring materials and equipment are ready for daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely.
• Perform pre‑operational inspections of tools and equipment.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other building materials.
• Assist with drilling, blasting, framing, wall erection, and roof construction.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications and pave or rake asphalt.
• Clean up chemical spills, debris, and salvaged materials.
• Operate or tend construction machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on construction experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and flexibility.
• Capable of handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lb).
