Configuration Technician

About the role

The Configuration Technician will configure new computers and hardware for clients, handling large‑volume imaging and troubleshooting in a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot software and network settings.
• Install software, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose, repair, and upgrade PC software and equipment.
• Image workstations for new deployments.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.
• Proactively align service delivery with client needs.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in an enterprise or business IT environment.
• Knowledge of desktop hardware and Windows software installation/troubleshooting.
• Experience assembling or repairing PCs.
• Ability to lift 50 lb+ and pass a criminal record check (CPIC).
