About the role
We are seeking a reliable Concrete Finisher to join our team in Calgary. The role involves working on a variety of construction sites, handling concrete placement, finishing, and repair tasks in both residential and commercial settings.
Key responsibilities
- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement before concrete placement.
- Directly place concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
- Fill hollows, remove spots, and level the top surface of freshly poured concrete.
- Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages, and install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Required profile
- Accurate and detail‑oriented.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexible and dependable team player.
- Physically capable of handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in dusty, noisy, hot, and outdoor environments.
