Concrete Finisher – Edmonton

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Concrete Finisher to join our team in Edmonton. The role involves working on various construction sites to ensure freshly poured concrete meets quality and finish specifications. You will work in dusty, noisy environments and must be comfortable handling physical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement before pouring.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• Impart the desired finish using hand and power tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Waterproof, damp‑proof, repair, resurface and replace worn sections of concrete structures.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for long periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility, teamwork and dependability.

Required skills
