About the role

We are seeking a PhD‑level Computer Science researcher to provide authoritative, well‑explained answers to advanced computer‑science queries that will help improve our AI models. This remote contract role involves creating high‑quality reference responses, reviewing data for accuracy, and collaborating with annotation leads.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, well‑explained responses to advanced computer‑science queries for AI model improvement.
• Review and evaluate computer‑science data, questions, and solutions to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practices.
• Develop comprehensive explanations and justifications across a wide range of computer‑science concepts.
• Collaborate with annotation leads and project managers to refine requirements and maintain high response quality.
• Create exemplary “golden responses” that set benchmarks for future model outputs.
• Document context and rationale behind answers to aid model interpretability and future annotation efforts.
• Participate in remote discussions or workshops to clarify objectives and maintain alignment across the contributor community.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field with strong expertise in foundational and advanced topics.
• Proven ability to communicate intricate computer‑science concepts precisely in written form.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or publishing scientific, technical, or educational computer‑science materials.
• Familiarity with multiple sub‑disciplines within computer science and ability to adapt explanations for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to analytical accuracy and methodological rigor.
