Community Marketing Manager

About the role

The Community & Marketing Manager will act as an extension of the Ace Hotel brand, driving multi‑channel marketing, partnerships, programming and community engagement for our flagship Toronto property. Reporting to both the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Atelier Director of Community & Global Brand Partnerships, this role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage quarterly marketing plans and calendars to boost property awareness, community engagement and revenue across rooms and F&B.
• Execute content marketing across web, email and social media, and design event marketing strategies aligned with culturally relevant programming.
• Identify, negotiate and activate partnerships with brands, organisations and creators, including barter and collaborative agreements.
• Collaborate with F&B teams on restaurant‑focused marketing plans, content, social and programming.
• Write briefs for digital and print collateral and work with creative teams to ensure brand‑consistent production.
• Maintain property and event pages on digital platforms and audit brand and third‑party websites for accuracy.
• Leverage data from social, POS and reservations to optimise programming, track KPIs and produce monthly performance reports.
• Manage the marketing and entertainment budget, delivering ROI analysis and event recaps with improvement recommendations.
• Lead hotel programming initiatives, from concept through activation.
