About the role
MS Canada is seeking a Communications Specialist to support its mission of ending multiple sclerosis. Working remotely from anywhere in Canada, you will help shape and deliver messaging that connects the MS community with programs, research, and each other.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, creation, and monthly distribution of the national e‑newsletter, collaborating with portfolio leads and the marketing team.
- Develop and execute communications plans that align with organizational priorities and audience needs.
- Provide writing, editing, and messaging support for staff and volunteers across multiple channels.
- Ensure all communications adhere to brand standards and effectively promote public awareness and community engagement.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience in communications, marketing, media, or public relations.
- Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proven experience planning and executing communications campaigns.
- Experience creating and managing email communications or e‑newsletters for large audiences.
Required skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to edit and tailor messages for different stakeholder groups.
