Commercial Project Manager – Construction

About the role

Gerry Enns Contracting, part of the Emil Anderson Group, is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead commercial and multifamily residential projects across the Okanagan. You will plan, supervise, and deliver construction projects from inception to closeout while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients and other stakeholders to define project specifications.
• Negotiate, award and manage subcontractor contracts.
• Review shop drawings for coordination and submit/manage RFIs and submittals.
• Develop manpower, equipment and material plans; code job costs and report financial status monthly.
• Chair required project meetings and maintain updated project schedules.
• Write scope of work documents and supervise staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Commercial/Residential Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of construction and project management principles.
• Outstanding communication, leadership and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with WorkSafeBC safety standards.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project.
• Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint software.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
