College Nurse – Registered Nurse

About the role

The College Nurse, reporting to the Chair of Student Wellbeing, provides professional nursing care to support student health, academic success, and lifelong achievement at Hillfield Strathallan College.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments and deliver care plans for ill or injured students, staff, and visitors.
• Develop, evaluate, and update health policies, procedures, and standards.
• Coordinate health promotion, education, and prevention programs across the campus.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counsellors, the Athletic Therapist, and the Montessori Matron to address complex health needs.
• Manage daily triage, referrals, and the concussion management program.
• Ensure compliance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) designation, active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in school or community health settings preferred.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and health education.
